hope u guys enjoyed the last pre-games event, the samsung human torch;
cos we have 2 upcoming events:DD
1) The JYOF (journey of the olympic flame) community celebration
its happening on:
date/day: 10th August 2010, next TUESDAY!
time: afternoon onwards
what's it all 'about: the event will officially commence at 6pm, will have an exciting display of cultural performances by students and community participants, culminating in the lighting up of the cauldron.
what we have to do: we'll need to show off to all that we're HERE! so basically, its a form of publicity to the WORLD! that TPsilat is here, and we're here to stay:) ++ we can also get new members on board, kinda attract their interest in us:)
there'll be lots of performances, and events lined up on the actual day, & a plus for the fasting muslims, there'll be free flow of coca-cola for all as they're event sponsors for YOG:)

2) the FASTING MONTH!!
ok fine, the 2nd one isn't as big. but its something most us can look forward to:)
in light of the fasting month, beginning next 2 weeks, on 11th Aug 2010 onwards, training will be held only once a week.
&& till then, STUDY HARD PPL! make full use of the special yog break to pull up the grades or maintain it! do tps proud ppl! ;DD cos we'll be there pushing u on, when u take the director's honours awards:)
