IVP 2010@Persisi is finally over. This is supposed to be the touchy-emo part where the comm write something to sum up the entire journey, but to be honest, i'm not one for poetic words or the charisma to give wonderful speeches. so here's a thought from me (**sorry this came in late cos i was typing with swollen fingers):
we've developed so much. we're there. come on... 7 silvers and 5 bronzes. it may be true that we haven't been able to retain the 3rd overall champ title like last year but god, it was close. the 3rd overall got only 2 golds. the competition was overwhelmingly intense & HOT! and it only proves to show we can only go forward after all of these coz we've all gained from the experience.
we'd like to thank our supporters, both juniors and parents, team managers; FARAH AQILAH and SITI FARHANAH, alumni, SENIORS and coaches; Abg Syah and Cik Rashed for cheering, guiding, assisting, helping, motivating and advising TEAM TP SILAT from the beginning till now.
&& last but not least, to our athletes, you've done us PROUD. we have achieved what we set out to get, what we owe ourselves for all the efforts we've put in... OUR VERY BEST:) it didn't matter that we've cried, fell, fail, got hurt. coz it just plain simple means...we've broken our boundaries.
but then again, all those up there, were just random thoughts from me who didn't get to bag home any medal... that much i can admit. but i know, deep down, i'm stronger now. i'm on top of the world coz i know, win or lose, team temasek was behind me all the way & after the bruises heal, we'll all come back,
tougher, faster & wiser.
