As you have read from the previous post, Majlis Pusat is organising a workshop called "Menjejak Warisan Melayu". please note that the workshop is compulsary for all those seniors participating in IVP.
this is because you need to go for a medical check-up before IVP and Dr. Saiful is kind enough to waive the medical check-up fees if we go for the above-mentioned workshop. =)

Here's a shoutout. for anyone and everyone who's interested, even if they're not from tpsilat;)
Event: Bengkel Menjejak Warisan Melayu [Malay Culture Exploration Workshop]
Date: 1st May 2010, Saturday
Time: 9-1pm
Place: Taman Warisan, Next to Sultan Mosque
Purpose: To explore the Malay Culture in Singapore
Organised by Youth Secretary of Majlis Pusat [Sekretariat Belia Majlis Pusat]
its on Labour Day, so it would be a good opportunity to bring non-malay friends to learn and explore our culture with them! ;)

For Seni & Tanding Selected IVP participants, please note, you're carrying a heavy responsibility on your shoulders, representing TP in this inaugural event. Please, take responsibility for your own health, training and physical/mental/emotional wellness.
We can do this people.
We're strong. We're fearless. We've been through more @#$% than this. Let's show to THE WHOLE TP, why we deserve that CCA title. we're no weaklings like the other non-deserving groups & show to yourself, YOU ARE THE CHAMPIONS!

The official orientation training would be this Monday (26/04/10) at 6pm, SAA (outside bookshop) given by Abg Syah, our very own international coach! You are also invited to come for the other training days, whichever you prefer. be sure to invite your other friends along as well! ;D

hello TPS=DD
WELCOME BACKKK!~ & to our new freshies: "HIIIIIIII!"
we'll be having a booth at AS entrance, right in front of Admin Lift Lobby C , for recruitment. All members are strongly encouraged to be there at 12-4pm for wed, thurs, friday (21-23rd April)

We'll also be performing for AS Orientation, 8pm, Audi 1, specially for the new guys!
Details for silat prac tmr:
We'll be having a run-through for the performance tomorrow. We'll have to set up mats and be ready at audi 1 by 6. Details for training tmr are as such:
Time:5.30pm so we can be ready by the allocated time.
Place: SAR Level 3
Attire: Half U (be sure to have the full U washed and prepared for thurs performance)
Things to bring: Any weapons that will be used:)
We'll cya tmr at 12 for recruitment drive! let's bring in our full force tmr!

Training is on for this week as per normal. A MONTH LEFT TO IVP! *GASP!
For graduates & seniors who are free and willing to join us, please come on down! appreciate it loads! =D
Your attendance for ALL practices are crucial and it will be beneficial so ensure that you do join us! ;)
Days: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays
Time: 6pm
Location: Temasek Polytechnic SAA, in front of bookshop.
Attire: Full U (monday), Half U (wed & fri)
**IMPT: Our trainings are not enough. Make sure u have that spare time for your own trainings (for seni, improve on the 5 points & for tanding, go gym or other body building exercise)
**Please bring along your fees & funds for this month.
Also, don't forget to bring along your shoes & guards for trainings
(we don't want any injuries before the actual matches begin now, do we?)
**P.S: if you want to succeed, stop giving all the excuses and start working hard towards your goals. when there's a will, there will be a way.

Hi TPS!
It was a GREEEEEAAATTTT camp we've had for the past 3 days. I'm sure everyone has had their own piece which they've earned from this camp. On behalf of the committee, we'd like to thank you for your marvelous commitment and dedication to this camp. We've seen lots of changes and hopefully there'll be more improvement to come which will make us even stronger.
IVP...HERE WE COME!!
btw, as this friday is a Good Friday, a public holiday, we'll be resting from our training but you can take the time to brush up on your techniques and artistic movements.
