And to everyone, please give me some suggestions on what you guys want to see in the new/improved TP silat website. Any suggestions. Just drop an email to tpsilat@gmail.com.

I hope that this email address can be used as the Main TP silat's email, where official enquiry as well as any suggestions, queries from you guys will be sent to. I hope to create lesser confusion among everyone and at the same time you guys can just email any questions/suggestions/unhapiness and I will share the email with the comittee. This is also in case anyone wants to look for any comittee member but is not able to reach him/her.

6. i think baju silat skolah ni seme..tak penting...personally as long as you have a baju silat from perguruan, juz wear..especially does girls yg ader baju perguruan but no choice still haf to wear baju rumah biasa...

7. LOGISTICS, Treasurer and Secretary take note, i want the silat uniform to settle A.S.A.P ! sorie if i sound demanding...but no choice...its important...

y training during puasa ? i wan us to bond...we go thru hardship on this month, training like normal..

let me tell you, no matter who or wat comes in between us..nothing can break this bond of us ! for we are strong.. we share the same heart, soul, passion, and drive for success and victory yet enduring all the pain we are yet to suffer. our tired bodies breaks us into pieces but with each pain comes every moment of gain...

it will be during late afternoon preferably from 5pm - 6.30pm.

and if can i wan every1 to break fast together...if tats possible..as a team...as friends..as Pesilat Temasek...TP JIWO..

and yeah i will be posting the design of the shirt soon...

Hi. I'm Rizki from Engineering School (Diploma in Mechatronics). I'm glad to hear that I was nominated to be president of TP Silat. I have only one thing to say to convince you guys, that's if you guys are convinced, which is that I swear if i was given any kind of job to complete, I will do it with my very best and will never give up. Furthermore I will help my other committees in their work be it they need my help or not because I know that we are always a team and teamwork is a MUST. Thank You.

3) Sharudin (running for President & Publicity)

Hello Everyone. Just to introduce myself, I'm Sharudin but everyone around just calls me Shar, or Din. I'm currently in my 2nd year of study in TP. I'm from Diploma in internet and multimedia development which is an IT course. On a more personal note, i'll be 18 soon and basically i'm a very happy go lucky guy. I guess the picture speaks a thousand words. I always try to be positive and smile and poke fun whenever i can to lighten the mood up. So to sum it all up, i will try to bring colours into people's life whenever i can.

Why choose me to head Publicity?
Basically whatever i'm doing in my diploma now is related to publicity work. From web site designing, to poster designing and even advertisement and video production. So I guess that this position will allow me to put into use what i have learnt. I hope to promote the club to a more higher level and make the club known to the students of this Polytechnic.

Why choose me as President?
As president i hope i can bring the club to greater heights. Having past experience in leading i hope i can help the club to excel forward and achieve more in terms of achievements and recognition.

Nadirah here. Let’s see… I have the determination to get work done, with no errors if possible. I am responsible and also approachable. Being nominated for Secretary/ Admin and Publicity is an honor. If chosen for either position, I shall do my best to maintain the standard of holding such a post.

I can do Admin work, as some of you may notice one of the duties (minutes taking). Apart from that, I am sure I can handle the work as I go along.

As for publicity, I am outgoing and able to do things once given the duty to do so. Like everything else, I know I can handle the post of Publicity as I go along.

-I’m juz a normal girl who tends to be playful at tyme. Luv to be wif great frens & family. I prefer to see things from the positive angle. Patience is a virtue, and I believe dat it can contribute to one’s success if he practices it. I am more of an introvert but it does not necessarily mean dat it is a weakness to be taken for granted.

To prevent any mishaps in the club is indeed not an easy chore. However, I personally think dat I am liable for this position as I tend to make a firm stand when handling difficult situations and people. Hope u guys vote for me!

well HELLO fellow earthlings! how nice of u ppl to nominate me as the treasurer. i'm nt even sure if i'm THAT responsible but thank u soo much for at least thinking i'm up to it. abt me? well, i'm nice. YES YES! trust me on this. i'm nice coz i dun bite. well, i'm not a cannibal, that's why. hehe. but i can be SUPER nice too, u know. who knows, i might even be nicer
and sweeter than chocolates. oh wait, i AM sweeter than chocolates! chocolates are bitter, remember? hehehe.

now, on why i am fit to be the treasurer. hmm. let's see. i have a safe box at home (no joke! really!). so i promise i'll keep your money safe. who knows, it might be even safer than the banks in
Singapore? =) ouh, and if i'm the treasurer, i'll reward all those who pay up punctually with sweets and candies. for those who don't, i'll hunt u down and make u pay a fine of $0.50 for every delay of 1 day! haha (potential loanshark aye? hehe). and, i believe i'm punctual and co-operative in making payments (ask aida! hehe), except when it comes to paying my bills! khekhe. and u can trust my money handling skills aite? i handle cash at work and i assure u that my current record shows no shortage of cash at all! well, maybe a shortage of $0.10 (must have dropped somewhere. hehe). but it's all good. hehe. ok, i realise whatever i just wrote may have either cracked u up, or scare u abt my potential (i can see the cause for worry there. heh). haha! well, i'm in a hyperactive mood currently, hence. count your lucky stars u get to see the crappy side of me coz i'm nt like this in real life (shy la. hehe), nt to ppl i'm nt close to dat is. so yay! now u know. *claps*

on a serious note, i'd be thankful if given this opportunity and i would try my very best to perform my duties at my utmost abilities. i cannot guarantee i will do an outstanding job. neither can i say that i am the best candidate (i believe maryam can do a better job than i can) but if u trust me enough, i guess it'll be enough for me to prove my worth. *smiles*

Firstly thanks for the nomination of Project I.C. I didnt expect to be nominated. Im really grateful. ok here's something about me.....

haha. ok. My name is Muhammad DAnial Bin Arif and i think you have seen me around silat training before. To tell you the truth, I just joined silat this year and have been with them since.

Comparing me to the other nominees for this job, I am a freshy. They have been involved with silat for a very long time, for the school, and their respective clubs. I believe that they have more experience and more knowledge about events relating to silat then me.

But, even if i do not have the knowledge and experience in silat, i DO have the knowledge and the experience of organizing and carrying out activities.I was a Staff Sergent during my NPCC days in secondary school. I was appointed to organize a Street Soccer Tournament with 5 other schools with my school as a host.The task was difficult but my team and I accomplished it with almost no predicament . Recently, I was part of the Diploma Heads team for the Week 0 orientation days for the new intake. For the 3 days, our job was to make sure that the programmes for the 3 day event went smoothly and thankfully, it went as smooth as silk.

Being apart of a team is not something new for me as i have been in many team based events and even leaders in some of those teams. But for me, being a leader is to listen and to carry out obejectives with everyone's opinions and feelings in consideration.

With this I hope that I have impressed a number of you. I dont mean to sound like I'm bragging, but these are true achivements that I have attained and the reasons why i am suitable for the job as Project I.C. I love trying something new, and being incharge or a project about silat would be a new exciting thing for me. I already have a few ideas i would like to propose to promote the silat cca.

Ok this feels like a résumé. Now the lighter side of me.

My name's Danial, evryone calls me Dan. Im actually a really quiet guy, who loves to read and play computer games. Im a simple person who likes the colour pink, Nasi campur(rendang lembu/sambal goreng/ayam goreng/telur mata lembu/tougay goreng/lady's fingers) and I esspecially like reading Harry
Potter books. I tend to get shy around girls but I try to be friendly with them. I just like making friends thenenemies. So anyway, i play the guitar and i am in Music Vox, woohoo, finally after waitng for a year. hehe. soi catch me and my band play during open house(i hope). okok.

hello everyone.
as what we have mentioned before, there was a need to hand-over the current committee to a new batch of people who we believe will run the next semester's show well. these are the people elected for the new committee.

President (Hafiz, Rizki, Sharudin)
Captain (Asyraf a.k.a Acap, Muslimah, Fara)
Secretary/Admin (Nadirah, Rasyidah, Safwan)
Treasurer (Raudah, Maryam, Afiqah)
Publicity (Sharudin, Nadirah, Umar)

Logistics (Samsul, Khairul, Farid)

these top 3 people are based on the people that everyone had chose during the meeting that we had on 31st July 2007 at SAA Building, Level 3. we believe that everyone must have a say in the club, which is why we evaluated everyone that was on the list carefully. we believe that somehow, these people will run a good show.

but despite saying all these, they will be given a chance to shine themselves. The "campaign" will start officially on next week, Monday, 13 August til Sunday, 20 August. I will be posting up their "resumes" on our Friendster Profile (http://www.friendster.com/tpsilat) & our blog (http://tpsilat.blogspot.com) starting from next Monday. In this week, please choose wisely on who YOU would think will be suitable for the position that they were given.

The voting day will only be one day, which is on 21 August (Monday), basically after the "campaign" week. Let me just mention a bit about the voting process. Basically everyone can only vote for 1 person for each position. Votes can come in to me by sms, email or on the training day itself since it falls on a Monday (if there's training, we have not confirm that yet). I will encourage emails though. :)) Voting will start at the begining of the day on 21 August til 11.59pm at night. :D
